How to Write a Mystery Story
1. Where does the story take place?
2. What is the crime?
3. Who committed the crime?
4. Who solves the crime?
5. The criminal must be introduced earlier on in the story. When/how are they introduced?
6. There should be at least one (or more) characters that are not the criminal, but could be. Who are
these characters.
7. The clues should become more specific and obvious as the story goes on. What are three clues in the story?
8. How is the crime solved?
