Toronto - Art Gallery of Ontario - Wednesday,
December 9, 2015
- The school bus leaves at 8:00AM
- We will likely be back at 7:00PM, traffic and weather might change that.
- $25.00 per student
- We need many volunteers. If you like the city, and are available that day, please come. The day will be a lot of fun. Volunteers please provide a cell phone number. All volunteers must have a valid Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check. (email me for details)
- If snow conditions make the roads unsafe, the trip will be cancelled.
- We will be riding the subway. Students will board the subway for free.
- We will be walking a quite a bit, looking at buildings and architecture.
- We'll tour the Art Gallery of Ontario.
- Lunch will be in the Food Court at the Eaton's Center. Students can buy lunch or bring a lunch. $15.00 might be good enough for a full lunch.
- Students will have an hour of supervised free time in the Eaton's Center, they are free to bring any money if they'd like to. Try not to send your child with too much money.
- Behaviour expectations will be extremely high in the weeks leading up to the trip and on the trip itself. We'll really have no tolerance for even minor misbehaviour on the subway, in the art gallery, in the mall, or while walking.
- Check the weather. Dress for the weather. Dress for walking.
- We will not eat lunch until 1:30PM. Bring snacks for the bus ride down.
- If we do not get adequate volunteers or student participation, the trip will be postponed.
- Bake sale to fundraise - Tuesday, December 8 at school. Get your bake on!
